In a wild turn of events, my company has hired an 18 year old intern, whom is right out of high school. That is not the big story, although it perked the ears of my wife...."is it a girl?", she asked.
One of her duties is to help with our social media marketing strategy(basically create profiles on linked in, facebook, etc). I was stunned that when asked if she was familiar with twitter, she responded, "I am not into it", and didnt really know why people twitted. So we will apparently not have a Twintern!
I have unofficially proven that "not getting twitter" goes beyond age. an 18 year old and 31 year old sitting together on the anti side of a tall twitter fence. ***this is not an actual photo of the intern.
UPDATE: The intern is actually way smarter and more mature than me, so this may not represent viewpoints of an actual 18 year old.
