There's an anti twitter club?

There is an anti twitter club, and THE ANTI TWITTER has not been invited. Boo.

I guess that is because in order to be in said club you have to be a celebrity, and have been a twitterer, and then decided that you are now above it. The most recent member of the "anti twitter club" is rapper soulja boy. Check out the news here or when it was re-reported here by Mz Virgo along with a hilarious bathroom pic of soulja in his tighty-grayies. somewhere someone lost a short stack of nickels, and soulja found them.

Apparently he is joining Kim Kardashian, Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus in the Anti Twitter Club. Sounds like a pretty lame club. I am thinking that he would rather be in the anti twitter army with me, then the anti twitter club with Miley.

Sidebar: Have you seen the new Miley video with the parrot costume? Jesus, how is ok for an underage girl to do that? MY wife added it to the list of things I have to avoid on TV (along with early episodes of the hills, and any episode of the E show pretty wild).

MzVirgo makes a good point when she says,

"[she hates] when [dumb celebs] announce that they are deleting (or closing) their Twitter account. My thing is, just shut up and do it! There is no real need to make an announcement like that...... [non important banter]"

I hear dat. How does this stuff get reported on multiple websites as news, and then re-reported on blogs, and then re-blogged at an even dumber blog about hating twitter.

Anti twitter site of the day!

Well, it is a blog that is kind of like a twitter account, but different. It is funny nonetheless, and they linked to me. So check out the anti tweeting blog. I am not entirely sure if it is the same people that brought you the dullest blog in the world (which is worth a read), but it is the same idea.

They do a "tweet-like" blog post, and give a very exciting and insightful followup to said post. It must be liberating to have the ability to blaze past 140 characters en route to what some may call a life-altering blog post(that twitter just wouldnt allow).

NY Times and People Mag stealing my gig - Not cool.

According to the carpetbagger blog, Ricky Gervais, creator of The Office and The american copy of The Office, is Anti Twitter.

(Ricky Gervais) “Did my first ‘tweet’ all by myself,” he wrote on his Web site in mid-December. “I may do another one tomorrow. So look forward to that. The trick is to confidently write banal self-obsessed things and assume the world wants to read them. I’m about to watch Celebrity Big Brother for inspiration.”

But just a few weeks and five posts later, he’d already given up.“I am sorry, but I am going to stop these tweets because I don’t see the point,” he wrote. On his blog, he explained, “I’m sure it’s fun as a networking device for teenagers but there’s something a bit undignified about adults using it.” And as a marketing tool for The Globes, “it would be a drop in the ocean.”

Bruce Willis Anti Twitter according to People. This is great news as Bruce is my "balding idol "(a cool white bald guy that I could look up to as a 16 year old, who was told by his hairstylist that going bald was an inevitability).

On using twitter, Bruce replied,
"Doubtful, doubtful. I just can't live with myself if I started Twittering ... I just think that way lies madness."

Can you sell your twitter account?

Im not sure. According to the site twitteraccountsforsale.com, you cant! Or at least you can't create a site that sells twitter accounts. Nice idea though!

UH OH Twitter. People are making more money off of twitter than you are.

Check out this article on WebPRoNews. Some guy sold his twitter account for over a thousand bucks and only had 1400 followers. Might have been a PR stunt :).

Also, you can pay Carrot Top to tweet for you at sponsored tweets. IF that gets you excited, you should check out bumvertising.

I get paid to blog about hating twitter.....Adsense has made me $5.32 this month. Woo.
